More About Miss Maude

Miss Maude is 16 years of age and is Jasper's great, great, great, great, great (??) niece.  She lives with her family on their ranch in the Sierra Foothills and her great interest in literature and books has led her to pursue a career in journalism as a contributing writer for the Georgetown Gazette.

She can occasionally be seen taking the train down into the valley to visit her Uncle Jasper (when he's sober.)

However, Jasper's connection with the Blue Canyon Gang has always been a dark family secret.  Maude remains unaware of his true nature and her kinfolk prefer to let her think he's just a black sheep.
